The rapid advancement of digital technology has revolutionized the financial services industry, forcing banks to adopt more efficient and secure digital platforms. This study explores the implementation of a Management Information System (MIS) to improve the efficiency and security of interbank transactions through the BCA Mobile application, a leading digital banking solution provided by PT Bank Central Asia (BCA). This research uses a case study approach and collects primary data from 30 respondents who are active BCA Mobile users. Using SPSS for validity testing, the results show that the efficiency variable (X1) has a strong and significant positive correlation with improved transaction performance, while the security variable (X2) also contributes positively, albeit to a lesser extent. These findings suggest that an integrated MIS—featuring fast data access, process automation, and biometric authentication—can substantially improve operational reliability and customer trust. Furthermore, the prototype development model used in this study supports user-centered design iterations to optimize system usability and functionality. This research contributes to the digital banking literature by demonstrating how a purpose-built Management Information System (MIS) can support financial inclusion, customer satisfaction, and strategic agility in the competitive Indonesian banking sector. This research also offers practical implications for banks seeking to minimize operational risk and improve service quality through system innovation. The study underscores the importance of continuous MIS improvement to maintain customer trust and address evolving cybersecurity threats in the digital age.
